AROUND OUR BARBERSHOPS

The Legends Barbershop – The STRAND Branch

Within the vicinity of the area’s best barbershop, The Strand runs for three quarters of a mile from Trafalgar Square eastwards to Middle Temple Lane, where it crosses into the City of London and becomes Fleet Street, once the centre of Britain’s newspaper industry.

Take a look around and take in our beautiful city. Go and see the enchanting landmarks that are the Royal Courts of Justice or the beautiful churches of Saint Mary-le-Strand, St Clement Danes and St Martin-in-the-Fields.

Take advantage of one of the many events at Somerset House in all its neo-classical splendour or just enjoy the spectacular views from its terrace overlooking the River Thames.

Looking to be entertained? The Adelphi and The Savoy – historic, big names in London’s theatre world – are just a few minutes away on foot.

If you need somewhere local to stay at the end of a day of sightseeing, or perhaps just a fancy bar where you can wind down and reflect on the day’s excitement, may we suggest The Savoy Hotel or The Strand Hotel, two of London’s most celebrated residences?

For art lovers, the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery at the north-end of Trafalgar Square are literally just a stone’s throw away.

From there, Whitehall will take you past Downing Street to the Houses of Parliament – centres of Government in one of the oldest modern parliamentary democracies in the world.

Or leisurely stroll down the tree-shaded boulevards of The Mall, past St James’s Park, to reach Buckingham Palace, one of the many residences of the British monarchy.

Whichever direction you take from the Legends barbershop in the Strand – probably one of the two best barbering establishments in town – the beauty of London is at your feet.

The Legends London – The HOLBORN Branch

The original The Legends Barbershop in Lamb’s Conduit Passage is in close proximity to many of London’s topmost attractions.

If you have set your sights on shopping and entertainment, you are in the right part of London: Covent Garden and Long Acre are some of London’s most prominent centres for the dedicated theatre-goer and professional shopper. The Lyceum, The Duchess Theatre and the Theatre Royal Drury Lane are just some of the must-visit theatre venues in town.

Within easy reach, the recently renovated Royal Opera House in Covent Garden is one of the foremost opera establishments in the world.

An absolute must-see for art lovers, the Courtauld Gallery, housed in the Palladian splendour of Somerset House in The Strand, houses the art collection of the Courtauld Institute of Art, specialising in the study of the history of art.

Or just enjoy the spectacular views along the embankment of the river Thames from the expansive terrace of Somerset House.

The Legends Holborn Branch is also conveniently close to Hatton Garden, with its many jewellery shops the seat of London’s diamond industry.

Heading towards the West End, you’ll walk past the grand Freemason’s Hall, steeped in London’s history.
